Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of working experience in relevant or similar capacity. Experience on large-scale construction projects is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, with commercial acumen.
  • Strong command of English, and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with a diverse team, external partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Confident and positive team player with eagerness to learn and develop with a company for the long-term.
  • Passionate and proactive, with a drive to succeed.

We are looking for a management trainee to help us develop and implement our growth strategies, with a focus on large infrastructure projects. This position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience towards a managerial role with advancement potential.

The Journey:

During your 18 months traineeship, you’ll learn how to identify and apply important strategies and business processes. You’ll get to learn about our company’s functions and operations, and you’ll support our management team with daily tasks. Throughout, you will develop strong problem-solving, communication and people management skills. Additionally, you will participate in formal training courses.

This trainee program is designed to fast-track the development of high-potential young individuals and prepare them for future leadership positions within the Sika organization. Development components shall include: rotational assignments including cross country projects/training/seminars; mentorship to help navigate daily challenges; formal training sessions/ workshops/seminars to develop essential skills such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management; Job rotation & project deployment to gain hands-on experience and apply the skills and knowledge in a practical setting; networking to expand professional connections; and opportunity to work and be coached by Sika Senior Managers.

What does the Management Trainee do?

The Key Project Management (KPM) Trainee for Vietnam will play a critical role within the company to achieve our objectives over the long term. The trainee will work with both the regional and local KPM teams to identify projects and opportunities that align with our core competencies of providing high quality solutions for the construction industry. You will be a key contributor to the strategic direction of the KPM team in Vietnam and in APAC region.
