Sika MBCC LLC, US is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team.  The location of this role is open to any of our locations in Lancaster or Lewisville, TX, Chino or Riverside, CA or Acworth GA. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our facades product lines by creating, maintaining and managing a product range that results in profitable and sustainable growth.

  • With sales management, establish realistic sales targets and develop and implement sound strategic plans together that support growth and profitability.
  • Drive demand creation in the market via all marketing channels – sales team, social media, webinars and sales tools, training programs.
  • Understand the local markets and customers to make sure product offering is competitive.
  • Drive innovation into the market that sets Sika apart from competition and adds value to contractor customers.
  • Responsible for effective supply of the full product line – includes forecasting and coordination with supply chain to ensure product is available to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure sales team is fully trained on the product line and understands how to position products in the market to support value selling vs selling on price or warranty.
  • Prepare thorough and well documented Product Idea Proposals to guide LET projects and project teams.
  • Responsible for all product packaging and labeling.
  • Produce new or revitalized product and promotional packages that clearly position our products and differentiate Sika from the competition by added value.
  • Launch new products to the Sika sales force and our external customers with clear positioning and thorough understanding of competition.  Benchmark Sika products versus competition to determine and understand advantages/disadvantages.
  • Be the SME and support the sales team as needed on projects, specifications or with key customers.

 

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field of study
  • Min. 5 years experience in a Technical Marketing or Sales role with construction products (preferably in the EIFS / stucco industry)
  • Sales experience extremely desirable
  • Min. 2 year site/field work in construction a plus
  • High level of communication skills
  • Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
