Currently, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Corporate Compliance Team at Sika’s global headquarter in Baar/ZG. In this global role you will be developing, implementing, and maintaining Sika’s Global Compliance Management System (CMS) as well live and lead by example, the Sika Values and Principles.

  • Support the development, coordination, and implementation of the Sika CMS, coordinating with the HR, Legal and Compliance teams, and other stakeholders within Sika Group to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the business. Provide guidance and training to line management regarding ethical leadership and compliance and coordinate worldwide compliance initiatives.
  • Responsible for full life cycle of case management for allocated cases across a broad spectrum of compliance / HR related matters, for various severity / priority level cases. Preparing of detailed investigative reports including case summaries and findings and make recommendation for proper action and resolution. Ensuring proper case administration, thorough and on time investigation to meet set deadline KPI. Ensure proper documentation of the investigation through a report or in the system. Following up on any remediation actions for the cases in collaboration with the extended HR, Legal and Compliance teams globally.
  • Develop and deliver targeted compliance trainings (via classroom or virtually) regarding various compliance topics (incl. speak-up culture, labor & human rights, anti-corruption, anti-trust, data protection, sanctions & embargos). Delivering of upskilling training to the local HR, Legal and Compliance teams as well as the business globally, including preparing business specific training materials and internal communications (in alignment with Corporate or Country Communications), scheduling meetings and support in training delivery.
  • Contribute actively to Sika’s Compliance Audit Program, incl. participating in on-site audits, conducting online reviews, and using Sika’s group-wide audit tool. As part of day-to-day operations monitor compliance related operational activities to identify areas for improvement, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Draft, revise, and help implement internal policies, procedures or guidelines related to ethical leadership and compliance. Liaise and collaborate with other assurance functions to strengthen Sika’s CMS and achieve the company’s sustainability goals.
  • Lead and manage global projects, related to compliance initiatives, ensuring effective implementation across the business, in collaboration and coordination with other members of the HR, Legal and Compliance teams. Help roll out Sika’s CMS to acquired companies (post-merger integration) or newly established Sika entities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of compliance and change initiatives, providing regular updates and recommending adjustments where necessary.
  • Monitor and review interval Voice of the Employee to identify areas that require remediation actions to enhance the compliance culture. Identify and implement integrity best practices within Sika Group.
  • Support the periodic reporting efforts to Sika’s Group Management and Board.

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Degree in Law or post graduate studies in area of Law/ Compliance (e.g., CAS) with a solid experience base as a compliance practitioner.
  • 10+ years of on-the-job compliance experience in an internationally operating business.
  • Direct experience in investigations is necessary.
  • Proven ability to craft reports with clarity and accuracy as well as attention to details
  • Expertise in distilling complex information into clear, concise executive summaries for senior management
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and German.
  • Initiative-taker, highly organized, with strong diligence and ability to work independently but with a collaborator mentality.
  • Ability to inspire and win over a diverse group of colleagues across all cultures and nationalities. Able to work comfortably in a decentralized matrix organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines effectively.
  • Availability to travel (approx. 20%).

Preferred:

  • Experience in the manufacturing / industry sector
  • Practical collaborative experience with HR
  • Project management practice
  • Additional language capabilities (especially Spanish, French, or Portuguese)
